Founded by Arati Nar, the brand was born from a desire to bring honesty and restraint back to an industry that can often feel overwhelming. Anara Skincare: How Sustainable is it?
Sustainability at Anara begins with doing less, but doing it well.
The brand focuses on a small, carefully developed range instead of constant expansion. Each product is formulated and manufactured in England and independently tested for safety and stability, ensuring they last without unnecessary additives or fillers.
Ingredients are chosen with both performance and responsibility in mind. Formulas are free from parabens, petrochemicals, silicones, artificial fragrance, colourants and detergents such as SLS/SLES. While Anara does not carry formal organic certification, the products contain between 57% and 92.5% organic content, allowing the brand flexibility to prioritise ingredient quality and supply integrity rather than simply meeting a label.
Anara is certified by The Vegan Society and approved cruelty-free under the Leaping Bunny Programme.
