Navigating Brexit: how a small fashion brand is still selling to Europe from the UK

Hello!

Welcome to our attempt to make sense of Brexit and shipping to the EU.

First up, you’re not the only small fashion brand to find this confusing!

Secondly, we’re not lawyers or advisors so this is not a guide. We’re just two small brands working hard to try to navigate Brexit & hope this gives you some ideas to consider for your business.

The document explores four options for small fashion brands shipping to Europe:

1. Ship Delivered At Place (DAP)

2. Ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) and handle VAT & Duty in-house

3. Ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) and ask the courier to handle VAT & Duty on your behalf

4. Move stock to a warehouse in the EU and ship from there

We’d love to hear what you think and we hope you find it helpful.
